When You Don't Get All 8 GBs

A Montreal law student is suing Apple because the box on his iPod says 8 GB, and there is only 7.6 GB of usable memory on it because of the OS. Sometimes these ridiculous lawsuits make good points, if having no precedent in law. The fact that the OS takes up memory is known by most people and is on par with “smoking is bad for you,” but just how bad for you, or how much memory, is still relevant. I'd like to see it more clearly marked on the box.
